Nealy Pierce, LLC
We’re partnering with a respected nonprofit health system in the
Coastal Southeast
to identify an experienced
Director of Imaging Services
who enjoys leading complex operations while staying closely connected to people and day-to-day work.
This role provides leadership across a
multi-site imaging enterprise , including two hospitals and several outpatient imaging centers. Imaging services span diagnostic and interventional modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine/PET-CT, and interventional radiology, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. The program is clinically strong, supported by highly skilled radiologists, and positioned for continued growth.
The focus of this role is less about fixing broken systems and more about
strengthening what’s already working
including stabilizing and growing technologist staffing in a competitive market, mentoring managers and emerging leaders, and supporting thoughtful expansion of services as the system grows its outpatient footprint. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible, collaborative, and engaged across departments.
Our ideal candidate is
master’s prepared
with
8–10+ years of imaging leadership experience , comfortable overseeing multiple modalities and sites, and confident in financial stewardship. You’ll work closely with physician partners and executive leadership, balancing quality, access, capital priorities, and ROI with a practical, community‑focused mindset.
Located in the
Coastal Southeast region , this opportunity offers a lifestyle many leaders are looking for - mild winters, access to the water, outdoor living year-round, and a strong sense of community- without sacrificing the complexity or impact of your work.
Compensation ranges from
$150,000–$190,000 , depending on experience. Executive benefits package will be offered and includes employer-funded health coverage with an HRA, generous front‑loaded PTO, 401(k) match, and fully paid short‑and‑long‑term disability. Relocation assistance is also available.
