Posting Summary The Division of Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Diseases at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks a faculty member to oversee Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT)/Complex Outpatient Antibiotic Therapy (COpAT) at RWJUH.
Responsibilities
Provide Infectious Diseases services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick, including attending on inpatient ID consult service (general ID or oncology ID).
Manage and oversee the operations of the OPAT/COpAT program.
Conduct innovative research and publish results in high‑impact, peer‑reviewed journals and other departmental activities.
Participate in teaching and mentoring of trainees.
Qualifications
MD/DO or equivalent.
Board eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Infectious Disease.
Extensive experience in infectious diseases and outpatient antibiotic therapy.
Demonstrated ability to conduct research and publish.
Salary A minimum of $144,413.
