If you answered YES, consider joining Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health as a Residential Recreation Coordinator. You will work with dedicated professionals who share a passion for helping individuals in need and will oversee campus activities and special events, coordinating campus-wide recreational events and ensuring implementation of recreational programming. Location: Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York, main campus in Red Hook, Dutchess County, NY (12571). Responsibilities
Oversee campus activities and special events; coordinate campus-wide recreational events and implementation of recreational programming. Become a Special Olympics coach and engage others interested in coaching. Assist in coordinating attendance and engagement with organizations that support the I/DD community and foster inclusive opportunities and partnerships. Coordinate recreational/advocacy-based fundraising events for campus programs or children\'s advocacy group in conjunction with program activities specialists and advocates. Assist in ensuring staffing is appropriate and adequate for the needs of individuals involved in events/activities, in conjunction with Program Managers. Must meet the minimum requirements to drive a Devereux vehicle (21+ years old with a clean, valid NY State driver license). Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or GED required. Associate\'s degree preferred. Experience : Two years of experience in a similar setting; recreation experience preferred. Devereux maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and will cooperate with authorities. Salary and Benefits
Salary: commensurate with education and experience. With HS diploma: $22.50 - $24.07 per hour With Bachelors: $23.50 - $25.14 per hour With Masters: $24.50 - $26.21 per hour Benefits include paid orientation, and more than 5 weeks of paid time off in the first year.
