Location Halcott Dorm, Red Hook campus, New York City.

Salary Commensurate with education and experience: /n/HS Diploma/GED: $21.50 – $23.00 per hour /n/BA/BS: $22.50 – $24.07 per hour /n/MA/MS or higher: $23.50 – $25.14 per hour

Qualifications

HS diploma/GED with one year of related experience. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with one year of related experience preferred.

Valid NY driver’s license.

Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and has a sense of humor.

Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.

Physical Requirements Pre‑employment physical required. Significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Frequent planned, outside activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient for normal communication. Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc. Good manual dexterity.
