Candidate Requirements
A passion for and experience in electronic systems and/or embedded electronic sub‑systems for defense, space and/or aerospace applications
A technical degree and background in industry roles such as product management, solutions architecture, business development or similar
Experience in progressive roles that transition from technical engineering to business development, strategy, client engagement or M&A
Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex quantitative and qualitative analysis
Curiosity, energy, positivity and the ability to work in teams in a dynamic environment; hunger to tackle projects of consequential strategic value for high‑level clients
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities – Defense Electronics Associate
Support business development and drive execution of client engagements, provide subject‑matter input, lead analysts, and report to senior consultants
Engage a client base that includes large defense primes, multi‑industry conglomerates, emerging technology firms and high‑growth start‑ups
Distill industry trends, expert opinions, domain expertise and detailed defense budgetary analysis into concise, compelling insights to advise clients on core strategic issues
Deliver and communicate reports and findings to client management and executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
4‑6+ years of work experience in the A&D sector (industry or consulting)
Bachelor’s or higher engineering degree, preferably in electrical engineering; MBA or MS preferred
Strong business‑writing and client‑communication skills
Comfort with data analysis and strong presentation abilities
