Salary: $32.81 – $47.61 per hour; $68,507 – $99,409 per year

Work Shift: Days / Evenings / Overnights / Rotating Shifts (hours may vary depending on the needs of the program). Travel required: Yes, for meetings and on site as needed.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff so that employees effectively perform assigned job duties and achieve the objectives of the program/unit/section/division.

Administer the fiscal resources of an MSOCS home and individuals to ensure that expenditures are made in a prudent manner and are in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Develop, implement, and evaluate an MSOCS residential services program so that individuals’ needs are met and individuals are effectively integrated into the community.

Provide direct care services to MSOCS residential individuals to ensure that the residential program is in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Implement administrative duties so that individuals receive the necessary services in a safe, healthy and attractive residential environment.

Develop positive relationships with the local community.

Minimum Qualifications

Leadership experience (examples include supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead; completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program; one or more years of experience identifying issues, goals, strategic actions and 100+ hours per year time commitment).

Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a therapeutic, residential, or corrective environment providing counseling and rehabilitative care, including administrative duties, program coordination, and client care program development.

Must meet the qualifications to be a Designated Coordinator per MN Statute 245D.081, subdivisions 2 and 3.

Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Provide leadership by motivating, communicating, and engaging a diverse work group.

Work rotating or irregular hours as needed to complete on-site supervisory responsibilities.

Provide direct care as needed.

Critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills sufficient to analyze and evaluate complex situations, resolve conflicts, and provide guidance to direct reports and individuals receiving services.

Work collaboratively in a team environment.

Communication skills sufficient to explain sensitive, controversial and confidential information in a clear and concise manner, while adhering to data privacy laws and requirements.

Interpret financial statements, take corrective actions, educate, and manage the budget to ensure profitability.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

At least three (3) years of supervisory‑level experience in a program providing direct support services or vocational services to individuals with disabilities or who are at least 65 years old.

Multi‑site supervisory/management experience.

Understanding of behavior analysis.

Experience

Leading trainings on topics related to care for adults with disabilities.

Working with individuals with active symptoms of a psychiatric diagnosis.

Working with computer‑based programs.

Planning service initiatives with county case managers and other providers.

Working with individuals with higher‑level behavioral issues.
