About the Team We’re growing one of our Federal Tax specialty areas, the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. PCS works with private companies, their owners, and other domestic and international high‑net‑worth individuals, serving as their advisor, advocate, teammate, and partner. We are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their long‑term goals by delivering personalized solutions that suit their unique needs.
Responsibilities
Focus on providing tax and consulting services to high net worth individuals in individual income tax, wealth transfer & succession planning, and international tax.
Demonstrate technical skills with tax compliance assignments, working proficiently with 1040, 1041, 709, and FinCEN 114.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assist with tax‑planning responsibilities for individual clients.
Identify, research, and analyze complex tax issues.
Manage day‑to‑day accounts to ensure timely and accurate work.
Supervise, develop, mentor, and motivate Associates and Senior Associates through training, feedback, counseling, and fostering a team‑based atmosphere.
Coordinate workload and deadlines for Associates and Senior Associates, focusing on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Lead client calls to understand key areas and apply tax knowledge to client situations.
Create concise, complete deliverables that address client priorities.
Clearly communicate work plans, objectives, and timelines to multidisciplinary teams.
Encourage open expression of ideas and build client relationships.
Assist with business development, including creating resources and proposal materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
4+ years of experience working with high net worth individuals, providing tax planning, reviewing workpapers, and preparing income tax returns.
CPA or Licensed Attorney.
Proven experience in leading and managing work streams and mentoring junior staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate complex tax concepts.
Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with GoSystems, OneSource, and research software preferred.
Capacity to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
High motivation to learn and grow.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
