Job Summary The Regional Growth Executive is responsible for expanding and maintaining the provider network through strategic contracting, relationship management, and business development activities. This role combines network development, provider contracting, and acquisition sourcing functions to drive market growth, support medical cost targets, and strengthen value‑based care partnerships. The incumbent will develop and execute strategies that align with organizational goals for Commercial, Government, and Value‑Based lines of business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, negotiate, and manage provider contracts (physicians, specialists, hospitals, ancillary, and home health providers) to optimize network access and cost effectiveness.

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including potential provider group affiliations, ACO participation, MSO/IPA partnerships, and acquisition targets.

Collaborate with market leadership and corporate development to assess the viability of new partnerships, mergers, and joint ventures.

Create and manage a development pipeline, including outreach, relationship building, and project management from initial contact through execution.

Conduct provider onboarding and ensure timely completion of credentialing, demographic updates, and contract loading across all systems.

Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis and negotiation of competitive terms.

Maintain provider data accuracy across systems (e.g., Contract Logix, Salesforce) and ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual standards.

Develop provider performance reports, communications, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Perform market analysis to identify network gaps, emerging opportunities, and competitive dynamics.

Attend industry meetings and provider networking events to build strategic relationships and promote Cano Health’s value proposition.

Partner cross‑functionally with Provider Network, Operations, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure smooth implementation and alignment of contracting and growth strategies.

Maintain compliance with departmental policies, HIPAA, PHI, and regulatory requirements.

Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline contracting and development processes.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business, Health Administration, or related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in provider contracting, network development, and/or business development within managed care or healthcare services.

Proven experience in negotiation, relationship management, and network expansion.

Experience working in ACOs, MSOs, or value‑based care models helpful.

Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

Deep understanding of managed care contracting, value‑based reimbursement, and healthcare delivery models.

Strong business development, negotiation, and communication skills.

Excellent presentation, relationship management, and analytical abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and contracting management systems.

Highly organized, self‑motivated, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to interpret complex data and present insights effectively to stakeholders.

Physical Requirements This position requires working at a personal computer and being on the phone for extended periods, standing, sitting, walking, and occasionally climbing. It may involve extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Conditions Perform essential functions such as typing, standing, sitting, stooping, and occasionally climbing within an office setting.

Travel Requirements Travel required: Yes, ≥ 20%. Work may involve little driving/traveling.

Salary Range $75,300.00 – $96,800.00
