A global investment firm is growing its product strategy team and looking for a smart, strategic associate to help shape what gets built next. This team is directly involved in launching new funds and expanding into new investment areas — so if you like solving complex problems, building things from scratch, and having a real say in what gets taken to market, you’ll like this.
The role:
You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, product development, and private markets innovation. This is not a role where you’re updating PowerPoints all day — you’ll be assessing market gaps, evaluating new fund ideas, analyzing competitive positioning, and helping shape the go-to-market approach. You’ll be working closely with leadership, product, investment, and distribution teams to move ideas from concept to reality.
What they’re looking for:
- 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, product strategy, or investment research
- Exposure to private equity, asset management, or broader alternatives
- A mix of analytical sharpness and strategic thinking — you’ll need both
- Strong writing and communication skills — you’ll be explaining complex concepts clearly
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also take ownership and drive things forward
Ideal background:
Big 4, Tier 1 consulting, or product-focused roles in an asset manager or private markets firm.
Location: Boston – hybrid setup (2–3 days in-office).
