We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect with Epic EHR expertise to join a high-impact digital healthcare transformation initiative. This role is crucial for aligning Epic architecture with enterprise goals, driving interoperability, and optimizing healthcare delivery across clinical, operational, and financial domains.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and govern the Epic EHR ecosystem , ensuring alignment across multiple domains.
  • Design and implement integration patterns using HL7, FHIR, APIs , and interoperability frameworks for Epic and non-Epic platforms.
  • Ensure data consistency, privacy, and compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and enterprise security standards.
  • Align Epic modules with enterprise architecture principles, cloud strategies , and broader digital health initiatives.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to enhance workflows, performance, and scalability.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging Epic features, healthcare technologies , and interoperability standards into long-term strategic roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years in Enterprise Architecture , with direct experience in Epic EHR systems .
  • Strong knowledge of clinical and operational workflows and enterprise-level healthcare ecosystems.
  • Experience designing and deploying interoperable healthcare systems using HL7, FHIR, and API-based integrations.
  • Proven success collaborating with diverse stakeholders including IT, business, and clinical teams.
  • Healthcare domain experience strongly preferred .

Preferred Experience

  • Background in healthcare IT, payer or provider environments.
  • Familiarity with digital health trends and cloud transformation.
  • Certifications in Epic modules or architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.) a plus.
