
Senior Privacy Technical Solution Architect – San Jose

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable and actionable technical solutions that align with regional privacy regulations and legal policies.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to clarify technical rules and standards for applying privacy technologies across data life‑cycles.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their privacy needs, assist in solution design, and drive implementation.
- Identify and evaluate new privacy solutions and practices to improve TikTok’s privacy and security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering or privacy/security engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with large‑scale systems.
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration ability with cross‑functional teams.
- Self‑starter who can manage and prioritize initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with domestic and international privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, cybersecurity law).
- Knowledge of privacy and/or compliance solutions across different industries.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $199,800 – $374,400 per year (annually). Pay and benefits may vary based on qualifications, location, and experience.
