Job Description
Purpose:
A Salesforce Solution Architect is the project leader from the initial client engagement to the final delivery. They are responsible for the overall solution design and implementation of a project from concept to completion. They are experts in the Salesforce ecosystem in purpose as well as functionality with strong client relation capability (they make the complex seem simple).
Responsibilities
- Meets with clients to identify project needs
- Defines the overarching project solution
- Leads discovery andsolutiondesignworkshops
- Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define processes, functional use cases, and user experience
- Breaking down large scale projects into manageable sprints of development
- Defines project deliverables and work products for sprint stories
- Oversees the overall progress on project development
- Leads decision discussions and recommendations on which Salesforce products to use based on analysis and research
- Partners on architectural decisions and plans with Technical Architect and Client
- Leads project implementation and milestone achievements
- Assures project requirements are delivered according to solution design
- Responsible for the final configuration and implementation of the intended solution
- Provides solution and/or platform-specific best practices
- Responsible for the Solution Design Document

Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with Salesforce
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce technology platform
- Understanding of Business Processes and Functional Configuration required.
- Understanding of Solution Architecture methodologies and design patterns
- Experience with testing web applications, integrations, and mobile devices
