At Pair of Thieves, we design basics that are anything but. We’ve built a brand on bold creativity, premium quality, and a whole lot of personality—and we’re growing fast. To keep the business sharp as we scale, we’re looking for a Director of FP&A who can bring structure, insight, and strategy to our finance team.

This is a hands-on leadership role that will shape how we forecast, budget, and analyze our omni-channel business (DTC, wholesale, Amazon, and beyond). If you’re equal parts financial wizard and strategic partner, love digging into numbers, and can see the story behind the spreadsheets—you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

  • Budgeting
  • Lead the annual company-wide budget process across all departments.
  • Build and maintain budget vs. actual reporting to drive accountability and highlight opportunities.
  • Forecasting & Planning
  • Own financial forecasting for revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash flow.
  • Partner with Sales, Merchandising, and Ops to validate assumptions and pressure-test plans.
  • Run scenario models to show how different business decisions play out.
  • Turn data into insights that help leadership make smart, fast decisions.
  • Monitor trends, risks, and opportunities—and bring proactive solutions to the table.
  • Support long-range planning with actionable financial roadmaps.
  • Data & Reporting
  • Pull and integrate data across ERP, POS, and other platforms.
  • Build dashboards, visualizations, and reports that make performance easy to track.
  • Partner across teams to make sure the right people have the right numbers at the right time.
  • Process & Tools
  • Lead implementation of FP&A tools to improve automation, speed, and accuracy.
  • Scale reporting processes that make finance smarter and the business faster.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive FP&A experience—ideally in consumer brands or apparel.
  • Strong grasp of KPIs and operational analytics.
  • Experience with planning tools (Workday, Planful, Datarails) and ERP systems (Full Circle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics).
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Tableau (and comfortable pulling from enterprise systems).
  • Bonus points for experience with Shopify or Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central).
  • Clear, concise communicator who can translate complex financials into business-friendly insights.
  • Someone detail-obsessed, process-driven, and adaptable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Why Pair of Thieves

We’re a creative, high-energy team that loves what we do. At Pair of Thieves, you’ll get:

  • Competitive pay and benefits.
  • A seat at the table in shaping the future of a growing brand.
  • A fun, collaborative culture where great ideas (and great socks) are always welcome.

  • 17 paid holidays
