Position Summary… Walmart is on a mission to help our customers live better by saving them time and money every day. As Senior Director of Product Management for Everyday Essentials, you will lead a team of exceptional product managers focused on solving the real, everyday needs of millions of customers. You’ll define and execute the vision for how Walmart helps customers plan meals, run their households, and manage daily life more efficiently—across digital and physical channels.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive strategy: Craft and own the long‑term product strategy and roadmap for Everyday Essentials, focusing on how Walmart supports customers’ recurring needs—meals, household supplies, and daily routines.
  • Lead and inspire a world‑class team: Build and mentor a team of product leaders who are customer‑obsessed, data‑driven, and deeply collaborative across design, engineering, and data science.
  • Champion customer needs: Deeply understand customer pain points around planning, shopping, and saving time/money in daily life; translate insights into scalable solutions that simplify the shopping journey.
  • Integrate AI/ML innovation: Partner closely with data science and engineering teams to apply machine learning models that power intelligent recommendations, personalized planning tools, and predictive household replenishment experiences.
  • Deliver end‑to‑end excellence: Oversee the full lifecycle—from product vision, requirements, and design to launch, iteration, and measurement—across digital, mobile, and in‑store touchpoints.
  • Measure what matters: Define success metrics and track impact across customer satisfaction, engagement, and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 15 years of experience in Product Management, with 5 years leading teams at the Director level or above.
  • Proven record of building and scaling customer‑facing products that address real‑life needs, ideally in retail, grocery, or e‑commerce.
  • Strong background in AI/ML products, with an ability to translate technical models into delightful, intuitive customer experiences.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, balancing customer experience innovation with operational scalability and business impact.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional execution across engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of aligning executive leadership and inspiring teams around a shared mission.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in omnichannel retail or grocery technology ecosystems.
  • Background in personalization, recommendation systems, or household management tools.
  • Deep empathy for diverse customers and a passion for improving everyday life at scale.
  • Experience with accessibility best practices, including WCAG 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 13 years’ experience in product management.
  • or 15 years’ experience in product management or related area.
