$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr Essential Functions
Travel to various field project sites Monitor construction operations Collect samples of materials as needed Utilize field testing equipment to determine compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards Review approved plans, specifications, and submittals for inspection requirements Comply with inspection requirements in accordance with the applicable code, approved plans, and specifications Process daily field reports and inspection reports and follow procedures for notification of discrepancies Communicate with project managers, colleagues, and contractors as required Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent; outdoor labor, construction knowledge, or relevant BOCES training preferred Complete OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety and Health Training within a reasonable period following commencement of employment Effectively communicate with supervisors, clients, contractors, and inspectors regarding specifications and qualification test results Record project data and complete required field inspection reports and documentation Review and understand industry standards, plans, and specifications and recognize deficiencies Valid driver’s license and transportation to travel to project sites Benefits
