The Lake Club in Bradenton, FL is looking for a Full‑time Property Maintenance Specialist. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep and overall appearance of an exclusive private residential community. This is a hands‑on role requiring a versatile, self‑motivated professional with strong general maintenance and handyperson experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works independently across a wide range of tasks, and demonstrates a professional demeanor with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional resident service. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the community’s high standards and ensuring a safe, well‑maintained environment. Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in property maintenance, hospitality, or a related field Experience in luxury or high‑end residential environments preferred Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the community Electrical troubleshooting and basic repairs, including landscape lighting, outlets, and fixtures Carpentry work includes minor repairs, adjustments, and installations Painting and surface preparation, including interior and exterior touch‑ups Basic irrigation repairs and adjustments (sprinkler heads, valves, controllers/timers) Pressure washing of sidewalks, buildings, amenities, and common areas Assist with preventative and proactive maintenance programs Assist with basic security gate repairs (swing gates, poles, related components) Clay tennis court maintenance Respond to common area‑related maintenance requests and provide weekend coverage as scheduled Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner Communicate effectively with supervisors and community management Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills

General knowledge of electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic irrigation systems Strong handyperson skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems Proficient in the use of hand and power tools Experience using pressure washing equipment preferred

Soft Skills

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Dependable, professional, and safety conscious

Safety, Documentation & Compliance

Adhere to all company safety policies and local building codes Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and facilities Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, repairs, and inventory using established systems (e.g., CMMS software) Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s license required Ability to lift to 50 lbs Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Schedule & Compensation
