Client Relationship Associate (Licensed – Service Advisor Track)
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Company: JEHM Wealth & Retirement
About Us JEHM Wealth & Retirement is a boutique financial services firm rooted in the Upstate of South Carolina, with our office located in the Five Forks area. We take pride in helping our client families piece together their retirement puzzle with clarity, confidence, and care.
Our team-based model ensures clients receive consistent, thoughtful service without relying on a single individual advisor. We value long-term relationships, clear processes, and doing things the right way — for our clients and our team.
About The Role We’re hiring a licensed Client Relationship Associate for a long-term, service-focused advisory role that will transition into leading client progress reviews over time.
This position is ideal for an experienced financial professional who understands the industry, enjoys working with clients, and prefers a collaborative, service-oriented role rather than being a primary sales advisor. While this is not a cold-prospecting or rainmaker position, it does carry responsibility and accountability as the role grows.
What You’ll Do
Participate in and eventually lead client progress reviews (while full leadership of client meetings and progress reviews will develop over time, candidates should already be comfortable participating in client meetings and engaging in live advisory conversations.)
Serve as a knowledgeable, trusted point of contact for assigned clients
Support ongoing service needs, follow-ups, and plan execution
Assist with applications, transfers, and money movement tracking
Coordinate closely with the Client Service Director to ensure timely follow-through
Maintain accurate CRM notes, workflows, and documentation
Identify planning or investment opportunities within existing client relationships
Support referral growth through strong client service and relationships
Who This Role Is For
Enjoys working with clients without heavy sales pressure
Takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and follow-through
Prefers collaboration over competition
Likes being the steady, dependable professional others rely on
Wants a long-term advisory career focused on service and relationships
Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
Active insurance license and Series 65 (required)
Minimum of 2 years of financial services industry experience (required)
Prior experience working directly with clients in an advisory, service, or support role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Comfortable following established processes and workflows
Team-first, service-oriented mindset
Experience with Medicare Supplements and Medicare Advantage plans is a strong plus, though not required.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
Clear expectations: No ambiguity about your role or success metrics
Team-based culture: Shared responsibility, shared success
Client continuity: Long-term relationships without prospecting stress
Boutique environment: Your work is visible, valued, and appreciated
Professional respect: This is a meaningful, respected advisory role
Compensation & Details
Compensation: $50,000–$55,000 base salary, plus bonus/commission opportunity tied to firm and individual performance
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Benefits: PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) with match, health insurance, and professional development support
Final Note This role is designed for someone who wants to remain in a service-focused advisory position long-term, while contributing to client growth through thoughtful planning conversations and excellent service.
If you value relationships, teamwork, and doing things the right way — we’d love to talk.
