Account Manager, Emerging Markets

Join a dedicated team tasked with expanding blood collection and engagement with diverse communities, particularly focusing on African American blood drive coordinators and donor groups within the region.
Responsibilities
Develop partnerships with current and prospective blood drive coordinators and diverse blood donor groups.
Grow diverse blood collection targets for area blood drives.
Operate as an outside sales representative on the Donor Recruitment team.
Provide training and presentation to volunteers and staff.
Scope
Individual contributor reporting to close supervision.
Uses technical knowledge to solve routine problems.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
Minimum one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to implement programs; strong organizational skills and multitasking; excellent written and verbal communication, training, and presentation skills; current valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Travel May be required to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization.
Physical Requirements Regular sit; handle tasks with hands; reach with arms; stand, walk, kneel; lift up to 15 pounds frequently and 30 pounds occasionally. Requires clear vision and ability to work in a small cubicle for extended periods.
