Chism Automation is a leading provider of robotic and automated machinery, based in Somerset, Kentucky. We develop automated applications for regional manufacturers and are seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive growth with key accounts in Kentucky and surrounding states.
Role Sales Account Manager – Responsible for building relationships with large manufacturers (>5,000 employees) and managing key accounts across the region.
Responsibilities
Build new customer relationships
Identify business opportunities
Develop and implement strategies to generate leads
Conduct customer visits to facilitate sales
Improve and maintain CRM
Demonstrate Chism Automation’s capabilities and scope professionally
Document and understand customer needs
Gather information and solutions to provide to applications engineer for quote preparation
Effectively communicate with customers, account managers, and application engineers
Requirements
Strong technical skills (previous sales engineering or account management background preferred)
3+ years of technical sales experience
Positive attitude and demeanor
Exceptional communication skills
Exceptional organization
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to travel up to 80% within region
