Media Supervisor, Strategy & Planning – Quigley‑Simpson

Base pay range : $85,000.00/yr – $89,000.00/yr.

Overview As a Media Supervisor, you’ll directly implement client strategies across performance digital, managing staff, budgets, pacing, and deadlines to ensure overall client satisfaction. You will serve as a key day‑to‑day client contact, maintaining strong relationships and guiding clients toward success through strategic, data‑driven, and tactical performance decisions across digital platforms and channels.

Core Responsibilities

Manage media strategy and planning with heavy collaboration across digital, search, social, programmatic, and analytics, interpreting data and developing actionable insights.

Build, refine, and present plan recommendations that deliver on the client’s business goals and objectives.

Own tactical plan development, recommendation building, and negotiations across the respective channels.

Lead strategic planning initiatives, including copy writing, budget and channel allocation, and audience development.

Work collaboratively across teams to integrate linear and digital strategies, amplifying brand impact and performance across channels.

Collaborate and foster relationships with key partners, including clients, internal teams, and leadership.

Oversee and train Associate Media Planner & Media Planner in support‑level work, guiding their growth; QA all work produced prior to client delivery.

Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities, and best practices to agency and client teams to educate, foster creativity, and create new offerings.

Analyze data to inform optimizations and future channel allocation.

Oversee day‑to‑day campaign execution and ensure campaigns deliver on KPIs.

Support the development of strategies and design by delivering channel ideas; provide the link to past performances and in‑market opportunities.

Develop a deep understanding of existing and/or prospective client’s business.

Display mastery of media fundamentals, including experience and interest across traditional and digital media.

Academic/Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Requirements

4–5 years of media strategy and planning, buying, and reporting experience.

Previous exposure to the media planning process or media resources such as DCM, Innovid, comScore, Prisma/Mediaocean, eTelmar (MRI), Media Tools, Mediaocean OX, Commspoint, MOAT, IAS, a plus.

Proven ability to develop and implement media plans that achieve specific, measurable results.

High comfort level with technology: PC proficiency and familiarity with MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
