Base Pay Range $26.00/hr - $27.00/hr
Associate Media Planner Summary The Associate Media Planner coordinates everyday digital media operations and collaborates closely with all staff levels, including other departments within the agency, external vendors, and business partners, in the planning, execution, and administration of media activities on behalf of the client.
Core Accountabilities
Develop a deep understanding of an existing and/or prospective client’s business
Assist the digital media strategy and planning team with day-to-day operations, including media research and analysis, planning, campaign administration, invoice and billing reconciliation, and reporting
Enter, maintain, and manage the Prisma platform, including campaign setup, budget entry, flighting, and campaign reconciliation
Maintain team status reports and compiled conference notes following any partner or client meeting; organize and upkeep internal files
Interact with outside partners regarding various facets of client media activity, such as the assembly of media authorizations, billing, insertion orders, and reports
Assist in the maintenance of digital tactical components of client media campaigns, such as buy details, flowcharts, spreadsheets, budget summaries, and budget reconciliation creation and upkeep
Assist in daily campaign maintenance, including tracking, spend-pacing, report preparation, screenshots, and trafficking of creative units
Assist with campaign analysis and optimization recommendations
Assist in digital tagging of all creatives by platform and placements, with the ability to pull reporting, tags, or view creative details within the platform
Assist in developing mechanical spec sheets for client’s creative services and/or agency partner(s) and issuing specs/buy guidelines to the video/audio/digital teams based on approved media plans
Gather market and media research, and compile competitive spend reports where needed
Academic/Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Requirements
High comfort level with technology: PC proficiency and familiarity with MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Previous exposure to the media planning process or media resources, such as DCM, Innovid, comScore, Prisma/Mediaocean, eTelmar (MRI), Media Tools, Mediaocean OX, Commspoint, MOAT, IAS, a plus
