About the Role
Estimated first-year earnings range, including hourly wage and commission: $45,000 to $55,000
Uncapped commission and earnings.
This position sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.
The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services.
Leads are generated through a combination of walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
1 year of sales experience preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided for offsite appointments and community events.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
Experience with a CRM preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
