Truck Sales Representative
Base pay range : $85,000.00/yr – $110,000.00/yr
The Truck Sales Representative is responsible for selling new and used medium and heavy‑duty trucks in accordance with the dealership market share objectives. This position covers sales within the territory spanning West Bend, WI to Sheboygan, WI. Total compensation includes a guaranteed commission for the first year.
Responsibilities
Engage with customers to understand their unique trucking needs and recommend suitable products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to promote sales growth.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate features and benefits.
Manage contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to provide expert advice.
Requirements
Proven experience in truck sales or a related sales role within the automotive or transportation industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel as needed within the assigned sales territory.
