Harvest Source
Harvest Source – Agricultural Outside Sales
Harvest Source, Portland, Oregon, United States, 97204
Location:
Pacific Northwest (WA / OR) — Hybrid / Field-Based
Reports To:
Founder & CEO
Type:
Full-Time | $70-$110K Base Salary + Performance Incentives
NOTE:
Because we need to scale quickly, candidates with direct Agricultural Sales experience will be prioritized.
About Harvest Source For too long, the agricultural supply industry has accepted slow, outdated, and overpriced ways of getting products to growers. Legacy distributors have become complacent — and farmers are paying the price.
We are here to change that - our focus is simple: faster fulfillment, transparent pricing, and fewer headaches for growers.
If you are looking for business as usual — this is not it.
Role Overview This role is for someone who wants to deliberately take market share — not just maintain it.
You will lead the effort to convert growers who are frustrated with legacy distributors by delivering a better model, a better experience, and a more disciplined way of doing business. This is a field-based, relationship-driven role operating inside a startup environment with real traction and a clear point of view.
Key Responsibilities
Target and win high-value accounts that are dissatisfied with legacy distributors
Drive sustainable revenue growth with measurable share gains
Win business that is profitable, repeatable, and aligned with long-term customer value not one-off wins that erode margin or trust
Customer Advocacy
Spend significant time in the field listening to growers and solving real problems
Translate customer needs into product and service improvements
Build long-term relationships based on trust, performance, and reliability
Help customers transition from analog purchasing habits to more efficient ordering and visibility tools
Provide structured feedback that improves our commercial playbook, pricing, and product mix
Qualifications
5–10+ years in agricultural supply, field sales, operations, or B2B distribution
Established relationships with growers, orchards, or farm operators in the Pacific Northwest
Competitive mindset — enjoys winning trust, converting relationships, and building durable accounts
Comfortable operating in a startup environment where ambiguity is part of the job
Willingness to travel 40–60% during peak seasons
What We Offer
Competitive base salary with uncapped performance-based commission
Vehicle stipend
Potential equity participation tied to performance and long-term contribution
Clear path to expanded leadership responsibility as the company scales
The opportunity to help build a better agricultural supply model from the ground up
Who Thrives Here
Operators who have spent years working with growers and want to build something better
Builders who value discipline as much as growth
Sellers who care about margin, operations, and long-term customer relationships
If that sounds like you — we should talk.
