Irrigation Sales Representative
who shares our passion for agriculture, customer service, and helping growers thrive.

In this role, you will directly contribute to the growth of FGS by increasing our customer base and driving irrigation sales throughout the San Joaquin Valley. A strong performer will leave a real impact—building long‑standing grower relationships, influencing future services, and supporting the continued expansion of our irrigation service crews.
This is an
80% field‑based role , ideal for someone who enjoys being on farms, working directly with growers, and creating meaningful solutions tailored to their operation.
What You’ll Do
Execute against the irrigation sales plan and consistently meet or exceed targeted goals.
Conduct sales calls across the San Joaquin Valley, targeting new customers and supporting an existing grower base.
Evaluate irrigation system needs and prepare accurate estimates for pipelines, filters, pumps, emission devices, and related equipment.
Maintain exceptional customer service while managing a contact list of current and potential customers.
Build trusted relationships with local growers and understand their field and crop needs.
Uphold a strong, professional representation of Fruit Growers Supply in all interactions.
Coordinate with sub‑contractors during installation phases and serve as the communication liaison.
Manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast‑paced, sales‑driven environment.
Comply with company policies and perform additional duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of irrigation experience
High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical agricultural training preferred
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record
Strong understanding of irrigation pipelines, filters, pumps, emission devices, automation systems, and general ag irrigation equipment
Familiarity with the San Joaquin Valley, Fresno County, and Tulare County
Ability to thrive under pressure
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP experience is a plus
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and customer service
