Fungicide Market Development Contract Sales & Channel Activation
AgCall Inc. has an exciting opportunity for agricultural professionals to complete sales and market development activities during a 2-month program. This is a contract position in the grape production region, beginning January 2026 and ending March 2026 (dates are TBD). Tasks include phone conversations and on-site visits with high-potential growers/PCA’s to increase awareness, demand, and sales of the product portfolio.
The candidate will be responsible for building awareness of the client and their new bio fungicide to an assigned list of growers/PCA’s in their assigned region. They should have agricultural/specialty crop (grapes) sales experience, and familiarity with local agricultural/specialty production practices for common agricultural/specialty crops in their area. The candidate must be self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail, timely reporting and clear communication. Experience in agricultural/specialty sales, and established relationships with retailers, dealers and PCA’s in their assigned territory is required.
Geography California – San Joaquin Valley
January 2026 to March 2026
Requirements
Must be available for day travel to complete grower or PCA visits from approximately late January 2026 through March 2026, conducting introductory and follow-up site visits to establish a relationship and deliver product sales
Must be able to work an average of 30 hours per week, including scheduled team meetings to share insight and progress
Proven experience in selling agricultural/specialty crop (grapes) protection products to growers/PCA’s is a must
Strong agronomy background with an understanding of agricultural/specialty crop production (grapes) practices required
Detail-oriented with excellent notetaking, record-keeping and communication skills
Ready access to a computer, email, and smartphone
Must complete weekly reporting to show progress in key objectives of increasing awareness, demand and sales of the product portfolio
Ability to work independently within the territory, covering your assigned region
May be active/semi-retired or retired retailers, manufacturer/distributor sales reps, PCA’s or other ag professionals; must be comfortable meeting with growers/PCA’s and following a sales process
Potential to bring past and present relationships in agricultural/specialty sales to the table is desirable
Must have reliable transportation to complete in-person visits with growers/PCA’s
Training required – will be virtual date will be in January
Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting new growers/PCA’s
