$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr Summary of position:

Assists the Shop Manager in driving the business to achieve maximum sales, productivity and profit goals through customer service, operational excellence, leadership, communication, and talent development while supporting the QUAY vision and brand. This role is predominantly on the sales floor providing service, interacting with customers and associates. This is an hourly, non-exempt role. Principle Accountabilities

Supervisory - 50%

Maintains a consistent sales floor presence, interacting with customers and associates to ensure the best service is provided through effective floor supervision. Coaches and develops sales associates to ensure high-level of performance and productivity. Fosters a diverse team environment and demonstrates a flexible leadership style when interacting and managing employees with varying skills and responsibilities. Sales and Service - 50%

Ensures personal sales and productivity goals are met. Demonstrates the ability to style a diverse group of customers with eyewear and accessories. Prioritizes and multi-tasks various in-store responsibilities while being attentive to customers. Exhibits a professional and fashion-forward image while representing the brand. Contributes to the upkeep of the shop’s brand image by maintaining visual presentation standards. Keeps current on fashion, market trends and product knowledge. Provides merchandise and customer feedback to shop management. Minimizes loss by following all loss prevention procedures. Meets assigned deadlines when completing shop tasks and projects. Complies with all shop maintenance, cleanliness and safety standards. Key Working Relationships:

Shop Manager, Assistant Shop Manager, Sales Leads, Sales Associates Required Skills & Experience

High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in fashion sales and supervisory leadership. Delivers a personalized customer experience. Performs basic math functions with the ability to use a calculator. Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred). Flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings according to the needs of the business. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with coworkers. Ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-changing environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong listening skills. Travel Requirements:

Position is based in a retail shop environment, requiring standing and walking up to 8 hours per shift. Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, shop openings and closings for an average of 0-28 hours per week. Requires stooping and kneeling to process and place merchandise as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise from storage. May require climbing ladder or stepstool in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale. Requires lifting items weighing 5 to 25 lbs regularly; in certain circumstances weights may be higher. Must be able to perform essential functions (with or without an accommodation) without posing a "direct threat" to the health and safety to self or others.
