Job Duties

Setting Appointments: 6–8 hours per week – contact potential clients who have previously requested coverage with our company and schedule a meeting to discuss their mortgage protection coverage.

Research: 4–5 hours per week – dig into the information the client provided to customize options to meet their financial needs in the event of a death or disability.

Meeting with Families: 2 days per week – meet with clients either virtually or in‑person to present their options, discuss coverage details, and help them apply for coverage.

Administrative: 2 hours per week – follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting.

Qualifications We are looking for coachable, challenge‑seeking, self‑disciplined individuals with a growth mindset. Skill set isn’t everything for this position.

Commission Structure Commissions as a new agent: This is a commission‑only based sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family you protect. Our expectation is that a full‑time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also have a selection of premium financial products to help people save for retirement or protect their current retirement accounts (e.g., 401(k)s and IRAs) from losing money in the stock market. We provide extensive training on how to sell these products. Uncapped commission and a competitive bonus structure provide additional incentive for top performers.

No agent’s success, earnings, or production results should be viewed as typical, average, or expected. Not all agents achieve the same or similar results, and no particular results are guaranteed. Your level of success will be determined by several factors, including the amount of work you put in, your ability to successfully follow and implement our training and sales system, and the insurance needs of the customers in the geographic areas you choose to work.
