Prenatal Account Executive – Columbia, SC The Prenatal Account Executive in Columbia is a field sales professional responsible for delivering our single‑gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics, Midwife‑Managed Families, and Medical‑Family Practices. The role reports to the Regional Manager – Prenatal and has a major influence over how the test is communicated to physicians and patients.
Responsibilities
Drive utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors.
Identify, develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
Prospect and cultivate new business, maintaining key relationships.
Capitalize on commercial opportunities for growth within OBGYN, MFM, GC clinics, hospital systems and federally qualified health centers.
Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow utilization quickly in the assigned geography.
Manage the full product‑sales lifecycle, including new business development and lead generation.
Represent the company at local tradeshows, industry conferences and networking events.
Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector, calling upon providers in a defined geographic territory.
Demonstrated sales track record, strong understanding of buyer/decision‑maker types, and effective selling, listening and presentation skills; national awards a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with proven ability to present to internal and external customers.
Strong time‑management skills and ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
Bright, flexible, self‑motivated, results‑oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills; able to think strategically and execute tactically.
Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
Consultative sales mindset with an ability to coordinate logistics and solve problems.
Comfortable working independently in a startup environment.
Working knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient privacy; ability to handle patient and physician information professionally.

Professional discretion in handling sensitive information.
