Job Description:

As an Aftermarket Parts Inside Sales Representative, you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable voice that drives parts sales at our store. You don’t just wait for customers; you prepare, plan, and reach out. From greeting walk‑in customers to managing outreach campaigns with our current install base, your mission is to deliver outstanding service and grow business by anticipating customer needs and leveraging company marketing programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Warmly greet walk‑in customers and guide them to the right HVAC parts and premium solutions

Provide fast, accurate parts look‑up, pricing, and recommendations to customers calling or emailing the store

Maintain and update detailed customer contact lists to proactively reach out for maintenance offers, upgrades, and promotions — turning potential needs into confirmed sales

Resolve customer concerns promptly to build trust and encourage repeat business

Collaborate with sales teams and use corporate marketing tools to generate more store traffic and customer engagement

Advise customers on part‑time substitutions and modifications when needed, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty

Prepare sales quotes, orders, and handle payment or credit authorizations smoothly

Keep inventory organized and accurate while adhering to all safety procedures

Analyze customer buying patterns to initiate timely outbound calls and emails

Experience and Requirements:

A proactive mindset focused on seeking sales opportunities beyond just walk‑ins and inbound inquiries

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and understand customer needs

Ability to quickly and accurately match alphanumeric part numbers

Comfort with CRM systems and sales technology to track customer interactions and follow‑ups

Commitment to ongoing learning about HVAC products, customer service excellence, and sales best practices

Good organizational skills and physical ability to handle parts and equipment as needed

Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for long periods

Regular movement through the office, warehouse, and sales floor, including operation of forklifts and hand trucks

Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

Excellent vision capabilities for inspecting parts and documents
