Responsibilities
Hit PVF sales and profit margin targets selling PVF products in a set territory and account base, including new items in existing accounts and selling to accounts not currently buying PVF products from Dillon Supply.
Have direct responsibilities for a specific portfolio of customers across the region and generate sales growth in those accounts.
Work with the Regional/Branch Manager on establishing qualified targets.
Support local sales teams in developing new / existing PVF business: provide product training, technical assistance, product recommendations, help service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily and weekly work schedule.
Engage our key vendors on large opportunities and/or for presentations/training.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports: monthly call reports, monthly work plans, monthly and annual territory analysis, and provide report to Regional/Branch Manager after joint sales calls with respect to opportunities, follow up and responsibilities.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
Requirements
Extensive PVF product knowledge and experience selling those products.
5+ years’ experience in B2B sales is a must.
Good understanding and knowledge of the manufacturing and commercial construction industries.
