Safety Sales Specialist – South Carolina
As a Safety Sales Specialist for our South Carolina market, you will maximize sales and profitability of safety products in your assigned territory by partnering with sales teams, planning and executing calls on existing and new potential customers, and providing product training. Key Responsibilities
Hit safety sales and profit margin targets in a set territory and account base, including new items in existing accounts and sales to accounts not currently buying from Dillon Supply. Generate sales growth in a specific portfolio of customers across the region. Work with the Regional/Branch Manager to establish qualified targets. Support local sales teams by providing product training, technical assistance, product recommendations, and helping service existing accounts and establishing new accounts. Engage key vendors on large opportunities and for presentations/training. Collaborate with showroom branches to merchandise safety inventory and participate in branch open houses and special events. Maintain management informed with activity and results reports, monthly call reports, work plans, and territory analysis. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc. Desired Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in safety product sales. Qualified Safety Sales Professional certification is a plus. Experience working for a safety products manufacturer is a plus. Reporting and Leadership
This role reports to the Regional Manager and has a dotted line with the Safety Product Manager.
