Retail Sales Associate – Verizon
As a full‑time Retail Sales Associate at Verizon, you’ll help customers discover and purchase Verizon products and services while building the next generation of tech‑savvy shoppers. Your work will be in a dynamic retail environment, focused on delivering a high‑quality customer experience and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
Learn and uncover customers’ needs by building connections and asking the right questions.
Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
Close sales using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
Opportunities to engage with the community outside the store to expand the loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED.
One or more years of relevant experience (work or military).
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided four weeks in advance).
Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income during peak periods.
Even better if you have:
Experience working in a commission‑based environment.
Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
Customer service experience.
Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $16–$21 per hour. Starting base rate for this location: $19.71 per hour. Commission: up to $16,000 annually, with top performers earning additional commission that can bring total earnings to $65,000+. Sign‑on bonus: $2,500 (subject to terms and conditions).
