Peter Wittwer Global Logistics, a trusted name in international freight forwarding and supply chain solutions for over 50 years, is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our North Charleston branch. With a strong foundation in either import or export operations, this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of freight forwarding and is ready to manage both key client accounts and branch operations. Oversee all daily operations of the Charleston branch, ensuring smooth handling of international shipments and high-level client service. Lead and support a team of logistics professionals, setting the tone for excellence, accountability, and growth. Manage client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness, acting as the go-to for account needs. Ensure compliance with international regulations and company processes. Track KPIs, drive operational improvements, and collaborate with senior leadership to align the branch with broader company goals. Represent the Peter Wittwer brand with pride in the Charleston logistics community. What We’re Looking For:
Must have prior experience in international freight forwarding (this is non-negotiable). 5+ years of logistics experience with a strong focus in import or export operations. Proven people management or team leadership experience. Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.
