Title:
Foreman - Pipefitter Reports to:
Superintendent Job Duties / General Requirements
Lead and manage a team of Pipefitters, ensuring quality and customer service. Collaborate with the Superintendent to understand company goals and lead the team to generate profits. Develop solutions to prevent issues. Review projects with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subs are in place. Conduct physical surveys of projects with the Superintendent and report findings. Perform takeoffs for projects in a timely manner. Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and rentals. Provide daily updates on job completion percentages. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, document incidents, and implement corrective actions. Complete and submit weekly reports, including safety, preconstruction, and production reports. Conduct inspections, ensure jobs meet Pueblo standards, and coordinate start-ups with contractors and owners. Coordinate with the shop for production scheduling and deliveries. Read blueprints and prepare materials lists. Work to increase team efficiency and uphold safety standards. Maintain excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, punctual, and professional. Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Experience with government facilities is a plus. Work in physically demanding environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, lifting, standing, walking on uneven terrain, and climbing ladders. Levels and Responsibilities
Foreman Pipefitter I:
4+ years' experience, current journeyman license or ability to obtain, 2+ years as a lead technician. Pay $34-38/hr. Foreman Pipefitter II:
4+ years' experience, managing 1-10 fitters, ability to complete an 8-week look ahead. Pay $38-41/hr. Foreman Pipefitter III:
4+ years' experience, managing crews of any size, completing an 8-week look ahead. Pay $42-45/hr. This is a safety-sensitive position. Additional Details
