The Job The Product Manager – EVSE is responsible for leading the product strategy and lifecycle management for PEC’s EVSE product line. The Product Manager will drive innovation in electric vehicle charging solutions while balancing market demands, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

This position will be based in person in our Chandler, AZ or Vancouver, WA office.

Core Functions Product Strategy Development: Define and execute EVSE product roadmap

Strategic planning and execution of the product vision for EV charging solutions aligned with company growth targets

Market & Customer Intelligence: Identify market opportunities and translate into product requirements

Continuous analysis of the EV charging market to identify emerging needs and competitive positioning

Cross‑functional Leadership: Collaborate across departments to deliver successful products

Effective coordination between engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful product development and launch

Product Lifecycle Management: Guide products from concept through market introduction and beyond

End‑to‑end management of product development processes, from ideation to market introduction and continuous improvement

Business Case Development: Ensure commercial viability of EVSE solutions

Financial analysis and business case development for new product initiatives and existing product enhancements

Job Duties

Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap for EVSE solutions based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives

Gather and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, sales, and technical teams

Define product specifications and work closely with engineering to ensure successful development

Create compelling business cases for new product initiatives and secure executive approval

Collaborate with marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for EVSE products

Work with sales teams to communicate product value propositions and support customer engagement

Analyze market dynamics, including competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies

Monitor product performance metrics and implement improvements to drive growth and customer satisfaction

Stay current on EV charging standards, protocols, and industry developments

Lead cross‑functional teams through product development milestones and launch readiness

Develop pricing strategies that balance market competitiveness with profitability goals

Conduct regular voice‑of‑customer research to inform product decisions

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing products and expand the EVSE portfolio

Drive forward‑thinking initiatives that anticipate industry trends in electric vehicle infrastructure

Requirements

Experience with electric vehicle charging infrastructure

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities

Demonstrated product management expertise with technical products

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value

Excellent cross‑functional leadership and influence skills

Strong project management abilities

Data‑driven decision‑making approach

Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects

Customer‑centric mindset with focus on solving real user problems

Proficient with product management tools and methodologies

Knowledge of product development processes

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

Forward‑thinking mindset with the ability to identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions in EV charging

A valid, insurable driver’s license is required.
