What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct actuarial studies including analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes
Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and finance principles in casualty insurance calculations
Obtain, input, and summarize large databases for use in actuarial studies
Follow up with clients and managers to ensure studies are completed and delivered on time
Organize and document work to facilitate tracking and follow-up by others
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field
Actively pursuing or possess an Associate, Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation
Minimum of 0-5 years of actuarial and/or insurance experience
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with actuarial studies and financial analysis in an insurance context
Familiarity with statistical software or programming languages relevant to actuarial work
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
