Environmental Health and Safety Director .
As the EHS Director, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and oversight of Grand Design's & Winnebago Towables environmental, health, and safety programs. This role emphasizes long-term prevention, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional partnership with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to strengthen processes, reduce risk, and advance the Zero Harm culture across all facilities.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across Grand Design RV and Winnebago Towables.
Collaborate with the EHS Center of Excellence to enhance reporting and bring best‑practice initiatives into local operations.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to internal safety resources to ensure consistent application of policies, best practices, and standards.
Drive enterprise‑level prevention and risk‑reduction strategies in partnership with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams.
Direct Grand Design RV’s and Winnebago Towables’ risk‑reduction plan, ensuring programs meet or exceed regulatory and organizational commitments.
Lead plant and program audits to ensure compliance and partner with operational teams on engineering solutions that reduce exposure to hazards.
Provide leadership coaching focused on hazard identification, safe behaviors, and advancing the Zero Harm culture.
Oversee all environmental compliance activities including permitting, reporting, and required regulatory documentation (e.g., NPDES Storm Water, Tier II, SARA Title III, Facility Air Permits, SPCC, Hazardous Waste).
Work closely with Human Resources, the onsite Nurse, and Physical Therapist regarding incidents, reporting, and post‑incident processes.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.

Education & Experience
Bachelor degree in EHS or related field desirable, but not required.
7+ years of experience leading and managing EHS programs at manufacturing locations, or an equivalent number of years managing manufacturing processes.
Physical Demands
Ability to work early hours with flexible schedule.
Stand, walk, sit in a production environment.
Office sitting and standing environment.
