Heavy Equipment Mechanic performing comprehensive maintenance and repairs on construction equipment fleet. This role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment support in both shop and field environments for a thriving commercial construction operation. Job Duties
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on heavy equipment including gasoline and diesel engines Diagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly and effectively Clean, lubricate, and service machines and components Order, install, and test replacement parts as needed Keep shop areas, tools, and parts inventory clean and organized Coordinate with supervisors on maintenance schedules and equipment needs Support product managers or engineers with machine modifications and test runs Complete accurate documentation of work performed Skills Requirements
Strong mechanical abilities and problem-solving skills required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with solid communication skills Comfortable in fast-paced, physically demanding environment Minimum 3 years equivalent mechanical experience required Comfortable working outdoors, in shop environments, and on active construction sites Ready to join a growing team with excellent benefits?
