Construction Superintendent - Atlanta / Multifamily
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr.
Job Details We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee ground‑up multifamily construction projects in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient job site.
Responsibilities
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
Review and analyze project specifications, ensuring all requirements and objectives are met.
Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.
Plan and manage construction schedules, adjusting as needed to meet project deadlines.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays that could impact project timelines or budgets.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
Ensure all safety and compliance measures are met at all times.
Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders.
Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
Proven experience in ground‑up construction, apartments, multifamily units, and wood‑frame construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
Valid certification in construction safety and a valid driver's license.
