Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
The Team The Stripe Community Team brings businesses together to exchange strategies, form valuable relationships, and discover new ways to succeed with, and beyond, Stripe.
What you’ll do The Community Enablement Manager will create content and initiatives to enable Stripe Community Builders, passionate Stripe users who launch and lead the groups that make up the Stripe Community. They will resource Community Builders at scale to help them foster strong communities and to engage those communities around Stripe’s products.
Responsibilities
Craft resources that help Stripe Community Builders engage their communities around key Stripe Products and messages, partnering closely with cross‑functional partners like Product Marketing and Comms.
Develop initiatives that coach Stripe Community Builders to increase their knowledge of Stripe and stay up to date on our latest launches.
Create and own ongoing touch points that support and enable Stripe Community Builders at scale such as newsletters or virtual events.
Empower and support Stripe employees to participate in Community events and represent Stripe.
Minimum Requirements
You have experience creating enablement or educational content and resources.
You have a background in or are comfortable communicating about more technical topics and/or fintech products.
You have deployed education at scale (audience of 100+) and with an end goal of mobilizing your audience to take an intended action.
You excel at cross‑functional collaboration and have worked closely with Product and/or Product Marketing teams.
You have experience crafting educational materials and content across a variety of mediums and love experimenting with new ways to engage and enable your audience.
Preferred Qualifications
You have experience with or passion for Community Management – even better if you have served in an enablement or content function in a brand’s Community organization.
You have crafted enablement materials and strategies for an external (not just internal) audience, especially startups and small businesses.
Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office‑assigned Stripes are expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users, balancing in‑person collaboration with flexibility. If you are located remotely, you should regularly work from home and may be asked to attend on‑site meetings and events; we do not cover relocation costs for remote work.
Pay and Benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $115,500 – $173,300. For sales roles, the range provided is the On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning it includes both the sales commissions/bonuses target and annual base salary. The range may be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants not located in the US may request the salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
