Position Summary The Relationship Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing a variety of banking functions. This role combines teller and personal banker responsibilities to provide a seamless customer experience. The Senior Relationship Banker builds relationships with customers, identifies financial needs, and recommends appropriate products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Open new deposit accounts and related services and assist customers with account maintenance.
Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.
Support FGB sponsored Financial Foundations efforts to promote financial education in the communities we serve.
Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate banking solutions.
Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Support branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
Assist with branch operations and administrative tasks as needed.
Adhere to BSA/AML policy and all other bank policies.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
1 year of customer service experience required.
6 months of cash handling experience required.
Previous banking experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking systems.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
Bilingual preferred.
