Staff Appraiser – NY
Class Valuation is hiring a Staff Appraiser to support residential property valuations in New York County. The role offers a competitive base pay range of $70,000–$160,000 per year.

Responsibilities
Complete market‑value residential property appraisals (traditional, hybrid, desktop)
Ensure compliance with USPAP and all applicable federal/state laws
Manage data collection, verification, and analysis
Collaborate in a team environment to meet production and service goals
Provide exceptional customer service with high ethical standards
Maintain proactive status updates and communications
Participate in training and virtual conference calls as required
Qualifications
Certified residential or general appraiser in good standing
FHA‑approved appraiser preferred
Minimum 3 years of residential real‑estate appraisal experience
Independent decision‑making with minimal guidance
Strong knowledge of local market factors and property characteristics
Consistent performance and open communication with management support teams
