$60,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
Overview A growing independent insurance agency is seeking a
Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)
to support a generalist commercial book of business. This role focuses on full-cycle servicing (A–Z) and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable supporting accounts. The position joins a collaborative Commercial Lines team and reports directly to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a generalist commercial lines book from A–Z
Handle policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and carrier interactions
Service middle-market accounts
Support renewal activity (approximately 90% renewals / 10% new business)
Maintain accurate documentation and workflows within the AMS
Partner closely with producers and internal teams to support client needs
Ensure accuracy, follow-through, and timely servicing across all accounts
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
3-5+ years of experience
Ideally experience servicing a generalist commercial book
Experience with middle-market accounts is a plus
Seniority level Mid-Senior level
