Matrix Basement Finishing

As we expand into the Madison market, we are seeking a Field Manager to lead day‑to‑day construction operations, ensure quality execution, and serve as the primary on‑site leader for our projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage multiple residential basement remodeling projects simultaneously
Oversee daily jobsite operations from pre‑construction through completion
Conduct pre‑construction meetings and jobsite walk‑throughs
Ensure projects are built according to plans, specifications, and local building codes
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors (framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, etc.)
Enforce Matrix standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness
Maintain project schedules and ensure on‑time completion
Perform quality control inspections at each phase of construction
Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners during construction
Provide regular project updates and resolve customer concerns
Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to jobsite safety standards
Manage permits, inspections, and documentation as required
Document job progress, punch lists, and close‑out items
Utilize company systems and tools to track project status
Collaborate with sales, design, and leadership teams
Assist in establishing field operations and processes for the Madison market
Qualifications & Skills
3-5 years of field experience in Construction (required)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in CRM or scheduling software
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Experienced in managing installation teams with proven success records
Ability to work through a punch list
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to multi‑task effectively
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience
