Your Tasks

Engage early in industrial projects : Identify and qualify opportunities during FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), basic, and detailed engineering phases to ensure Armacell solutions are specified from the start.

Create and position specifications : Develop and adapt technical specification texts in collaboration with the Technical Manager, ensuring inclusion in tender documents and vendor lists.

Provide technical expertise : Deliver engineering support, perform technical calculations, and recommend insulation solutions tailored to project requirements.

Generate demand and build relationships : Position Armacell as the preferred solution through technical consultation and long-term partnerships with specifiers, engineering consultants, and EPCs.

Monitor projects and manage pipeline : Track industrial projects in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate documentation and smooth handover to the sales team.

Deliver technical presentations : Conduct workshops, webinars, and represent Armacell at industry events to share knowledge and strengthen market presence.

Collaborate internally : Work closely with Technical Management, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to align strategies and communicate market trends.

Stay ahead of regulations and market trends : Advise on compliance, monitor competitor offerings, and contribute to innovative, customer-focused solutions.

Your Profile

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical experience

Minimum 5 years in an engineering-driven environment, ideally in industrial plant engineering, EPC/FEED projects, or specification-driven sales

Solid understanding of industrial insulation systems, including condensation control, energy efficiency, and heat transfer principles

Ability to perform and interpret technical calculations and create solution-oriented documentation

Strong knowledge of engineering standards and specifications (e.g., DIN 4140, EN norms)

Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical audiences

Structured, analytical, and project-oriented mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)

Fluent in German and English; additional languages such as French are a plus

Willingness to travel within the DACH region
