Regions Bank seeks a customer‑focused individual who will provide an exceptional experience on the cash line and over the phone, helping to improve the financial wellness of our customers. The successful candidate will build meaningful personal connections with customers while processing transactions, identifying new opportunities, and resolving service inquiries.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line and through phone and electronic channels, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfill basic servicing requests such as new/replacement cards, PIN resets, check reorders, and simple problem resolution.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, staying well informed about their banking activity.
Educate customers on standard consumer products, mobile, online, and ATM solutions to make banking easier.
Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to aid in problem resolution.
Conduct outbound phone calls using generated customer lists to educate on emerging technology and financial needs.
Refer customers to internal experts for more complex financial goals and needs.
Follow all bank processes and regulatory requirements, maintaining sound banking practices and reporting operational risks.
Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance on Regions’ solutions.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Proficiency in handling cash and processing cash transactions.
Strong communication skills in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
Computer proficiency, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 20 pounds for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of banking, cash‑handling, and/or customer service experience.
Experience with digital banking offerings.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong customer focus and relationship‑building skills.
Compensation Target base salary:
$39,221.63
–
$44,700.00
(USD).
Eligible for a formulaic incentive plan; potential to earn additional incentive pay based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
