Libertyville School District 70 has a potential opening for a Behavior Management Specialist (BCBA) for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Benefits include: 2 Personal and 12 Sick days; $2,200 Tuition Reimbursement; Life, Medical and Dental Insurance; annual $550 457 Contribution; and $400 Workshop/Conference Allotment. (Prorated to the start date)The salary is based on the placement on the Salary Schedule.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, School Social Work, Educational Specialist or related field
Possess Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA) or working towards the certification
Experience writing behavior plans for students with behavior difficulties, to include students with Autism, emotional disturbance, TBI, etc.
ABA or similar research-based training experience and training
Purpose:
The Behavior Management Specialist will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and directly support students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
