Aventura at Oakwood Village is seeking an experienced and motivated
Director of Rehabilitation
to lead our therapy team. The ideal candidate is a
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
or
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
with proven leadership ability and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
As the Director of Rehab, you will oversee therapy operations, ensure high-quality clinical outcomes, support staff development, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. This is a leadership role with a strong focus on collaboration, integrity, and excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department
Supervise and support PT, PTA, OT, COTA, and SLP staff
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies
Coordinate care plans and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Monitor documentation for accuracy and timeliness
Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Licensed
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
or
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
in the State of Ohio (required)
Minimum of
1 yearof clinical experience
in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
Prior
leadership or supervisory experience
preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to ethical practice and patient advocacy
