Team Overview
The Branch Efficiency product is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Owner with a strong background in automation to lead initiatives that streamline and optimize complex business workflows across the organization that seamlessly integrate into our AI assistant platform. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge business needs with technical solutions, driving end‑to‑end automation of processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership: Deliver on the product vision with alignment to the enterprise goals, own the team roadmap, and backlog for automation initiatives. Workflow Analysis: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand complex business processes and identify opportunities for automation of various internal workflows. Technical Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of automation technologies and tools to design and implement end‑to‑end automated workflows. Define and prioritize user stories through business value and ROI identification for automation features and integrations by translating business needs into user stories, BRDs, and functional specifications. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product teams, business partners, engineering, data science, UX, and operations) to deliver high‑quality automation solutions through serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Ensure seamless integration of automated workflows with AI assistant capabilities, APIs, and third‑party systems. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business units, ensuring alignment and clear communication of priorities. Delivery Oversight: Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of automation solutions. Continuous Improvement: Monitor performance of automated processes and identify enhancements to maximize value and minimize downtime. What You’ll Need
6+ years as a Product Owner, with proven experience in automation‑focused initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Strong understanding of automation technologies (e.g., RPA, workflow orchestration, API integrations) and their application in enterprise environments. Ability to analyze complex business flows and translate them into scalable automated solutions. Exceptional communication and influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders and drive consensus. Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira). What Could Set You Apart
Direct experience in process automation, process improvement, or BSA positions enabling automation. Experience with machine learning & AI‑enabled automation. Problem‑solving and process‑thinking using Lean, BPM, or Six Sigma. Former familiarity with process mining including Celonis or Signavio. Automation certifications including, but not limited to: RPA Associate/Advanced RPA Developer, Automation Anywhere Certified RPA professional, Blue Prism Developer/Power Automate PL‑500/Pega‑ Various. Product Ownership & Agile Certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). Prior delivery of automation in specific domains (financial services, finance, payments or similar). This role has the potential for on‑call weekend or early morning availability to support business needs. Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday. Current INTERNAL home‑based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home‑based status.
